Request for SVM’s position on the documented forced assimilation of a child of Hungarian origin

Milan Petrović asks SVM for an official position on the forced assimilation, two illegal adoptions and severance of his Hungarian paternal identity described in his email, and announces that the response or its absence will be recorded.

Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM/VMSZ) 2026-04-16
The email was sent on 16 April 2026 at 11:53 GMT+2 from [email protected] to [email protected]. The author seeks a clear, recorded position concerning the party’s role in protecting Hungarians in Serbia. He links his paternal line, language and inheritance position to the adoptions of 1979 and 1984, and refers to judgment P2.1435/24. His descriptions of forced assimilation and two illegal adoptions remain his express qualifications. He explains that he is not writing in Hungarian because that language was severed from him in childhood. He announces publication through Origin Dossier and the recording of a reply or its absence. The later embedded message of 19 May states that SVM had not replied; this April source itself contains no party response.
