Bojana Vujić’s hearing: “how he came under their jurisdiction”, CSR opposition and an order for adoption records — 26 March 2025

The plaintiff personally requests witnesses, divorce records and documents showing how he came under CSR jurisdiction. Maja Petrović opposes pre-adoption family-law-protection files and the divorce evidence, requests another 15 days for the Act and her position, and supplies the 2005 search report. The panel orders adoption documentation within 15 days and schedules 5 June.

At the non-public hearing of 26 March 2025, P2.1435/24, Bojana Vujić presides; Milan Petrović appears personally and Maja Petrović represents the defendant CSR. Because the panel composition has changed, the proceedings resume by reading the case file. Page 2 nevertheless states that the defendant’s submission dated 10 March is handed to the “plaintiff’s representative”; the full translation retains this inconsistency with his personal appearance. The plaintiff maintains his claim and proposes Vinka Ignjatić and her son Dragan as witnesses to the adopters’ dysfunctional marriage before the full adoption. He seeks his examination as a party, the divorce record and file P.1106/82, and documents explaining how he “came under their jurisdiction”. He withdraws his request for Gospava Vasić’s medical history. He explains that he had not properly understood the earlier 30-day task concerning witnesses and maintains the remaining proposed witnesses. Maja Petrović opposes the claim, the witnesses and obtaining the divorce file, arguing that grounds for annulment must exist when the adoption is established and that the proposed evidence is not relevant. She requests another 15 days to provide the SAP Vojvodina Adoption Act and a detailed written position. She supplies the social worker’s 9 March 2005 report about searching for Cvita Miletić; a photocopy is placed in the file and handed to the plaintiff, who says he already has it. On page 3, the plaintiff agrees to her requested period and says he will supply the Act himself. Maja Petrović does not oppose supplying records of the establishment of the adoption but explicitly opposes pre-adoption family-law-protection files explaining “how he came under our jurisdiction”, saying they would burden the case and questioning their relevance. The panel’s final order requires a detailed written response, appropriate evidence and all adoption documentation held by the defendant within 15 days of announcement. It schedules 5 June 2025 at 10:00 on the parties’ joint proposal; that future hearing is not presented as held. This hearing ends at 10:30. In a separately marked later clarification, the author states: “I already had the same Act and had been offering it to the court throughout.” This is his later statement, alongside the record’s entry that he would also supply it himself. He also believes that a copy of the Act accompanied his claim as an attachment.
